Jodi Sawyer, R.N.

Jodi graduated from the University of Massachusetts. She has been a nurse for the past 15 years and is one of the first R.N.'s in Southern California to work with lasers. Her passion and expertise in aesthetic medicine has made Jodi the number one nurse injector with RESTYLANE filler for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, giving her more experience than any other injector. Jodi trains doctors and nurses in RESTYLANE, PERLANE and DYSPORT for Medicis Aesthestics.

 

Stacy Simons, R.N.

Stacy Simons, R.N. has been a nurse for 22 years and now specializes as a Nurse Injector and Laser Specialist. Stacy has thorough knowledge and outstanding skills in administering Botox, Dysport, Restylane and Perlane. As a Laser Specialist, Stacy is an expert in Hair Removal and Photorejuvenation.

Stacy’s loyal and trusting patient following is the result of her devotion to her clients and her career. She is extremely detailed and artistic. Stacy has an aesthetic eye to access each individual’s aesthetic needs.  Stacy is also a Certified Nutritionist, Herbologist and a Health & Wellness Coach.

 

 

 

 

 

Julie Cortinas

Julie has over 16 years experience as a Licensed Medical Aesthetician and Cosmetologist. Julie is also a Professional make-up Artist as well as a Permanent  Make-Up Artist.

Julie’s goal is to make everyone feel and look great, with her customized and unique signature facial treatments. Julie’s background includes years of experience at the world-renowned Golden Door and Cal-a-Vie Destination Spas that cater to the elite and were both rated “Best Destination Spas in North America”. Julie’s unique signature facial treatments and impressive background allows her to provide the ultimate skin care therapy to her clients at MedSpa xl.

Julie is passionate about skin care and helping her clients achieve amazing results. By combining her extensive background in clinical knowledge, together with the latest technical advances, she is able to personalize a successful custom regimen for every client. Julie specializes in facials, chemical peels, dermaplanning, body waxing and permanent makeup that creates wonderful results.

 

Doris Asombrado, APRN-C, MSN, FNP

Doe has 5 years of experience in the application of cosmetic injections for facial rejuvenation. Doe is certified by Allergan (with the University of Southern Florida) for the cosmetic application of Botox, and by Medicis for the cosmetic application of Dysport and Restylane.

Besides the cosmetic application of dermal fillers, Botox, and Dysport, Doe has several years of experience on the use of lasers for cosmetic use such as the Luminus Laser and the Harmony AFT for photo facials, laser hair removal, and spider veins. Doe also has experience in the cosmetic application of sclerotherapy for the reduction in spider veins. Doe has experience and the ability to prescribe custom compounded cosmeceuticals for wrinkle reduction, hyper pigmentation, and overall skin rejuvenation.

 

 

Sara Dorfman

Sara is a Licensed Aesthetician with a passion for skin care. Her expertise is in microdermabrasion, chemical skin refining, oxygen treatments, and pre and post laser care. She specializes in treating hyperpigmentation, mature and aging skin, and acne. Sara customizes treatments and skin care regimens to target each of her clients’ goals individually. She continues to receive education and training on the latest products and procedures to ensure her clients are receiving the best treatments possible.

 

 

Teresa Taylor

Teresa Taylor comes to MedSpa xl with her extensive background as a Licensed Aesthetician, Patient Coach in the Wellness Industry as well as a Medical Assistant.

Teresa is skilled and trained with a full spectrum of Anti-Aging Skin Care Pre and Post Laser procedures. Her passion is creating a stress free environment customizing a facial treatment that gives the client a whole new sense of well being. The results change the skin tone while lifting, tightening, and revitalizing each layer of the skin. Teresa has a nurturing touch that includes aromatherapy that gives all her clients a relaxing and peaceful experience.

Teresa's goal is to optimize the exfoliating process with an Enzyme Peel layered with two Masks that pulsate the skin's metabolism giving an immediate glow and clarity while giving a tightening effect to your skin.
